Is it possible to have more than one mini pet out at a time,

One of my goals was going to be to collect all the mini pets, but if i cant have more than one out at a time then i'll just sell them and keep the best one i get??

Thats a real shame, I'd thought I could have a string of pets following my character.

Still would look pretty cool...even better, an entire backpack of, say, Charr Shamans running around...

They're small, and they don't obstruct the battle field. I can't see how allowing 2 or 3 minipets would cause any harm. What is so obviously wrong with allowing more than 1 minipet?

This game runs fine on 56k (or less) even with 4 people having 10 minions. 2-3 minipets per person cant hurt.

Shiro army, FTW!

Er... seriously, though - this was something I would have been ungodly interested in... wish I could have 20 of these babies...

...and then, I'd take care of them, and read them stories, and tuck them in at night, my baby Shiros, and one day... they'll grow up to be big, and strong, and kick-ass, and they'll turn people to JADE, dontcha know... and I'll go into the jewlery-making business...

So... in conclusion to my mini-rant/thingy- Rawr!

-Meta

...still wishing for that Mini-Pet army... NEVER GIVE UP THE DREAM!

whilst i'm aware it runs ok on 56k, it doesn't exactly run great from what my friend has told me; no point introducing extra lag plus there'd be some moron somewhere who'd complain that they couldn't see the bone dragon because of all the mini pets... I personally would love to have a mini army.

Mini pets are little miniature versions of assorted mobs from the game, such as charr shamans, whiptales, etc. All they do is wander around you out in explorable areas, they don't attack, do damage, etc. You get them in 1 of 3 ways.

1. create a character and keep it for atleast a year
2. buy the Factions CE which will be giving everyone who has it a special mini pet in a few days time
3. aquire 1 from someone else that got one through 1 of these 3 methods via a trade, gold, etc (real world cash is heavy frowned upon and will most likely result in your character being removed from play by ANet)

It can seriously be a probelm if you're allowed to have as much minipet out as you want since you could have backpack/pouch/bags all full of minipet and bring them all out. Then, whenever someone tries to target something and press control, all they see is a sea of green minipet text.

The answer is simple.

Have in options the ability to only have 1 minipet, or as many as you like, visible.

A solution to a problem that isn't necessary.

1 minipet is fine for me. I couldn't care less about the damn things
